The Death of Jane Avalhart
Thyrac
Once upon a midnight eerie
There lived a girl that’s strong and fiery
Jane Avalhart, she was talented really
The most popular of them all
But she was leery
She was in a party having tea that was splendid
Dancing all the dances that have recently trended
But after 8 the party had ended
And she’s walking back as she intended
But as she walked past through a cranny
The mist of the wind felt slightly uncanny
Maybe she could call her dear old granny
To drive her home in her old car Stanley
Jane could never help but feel wary
She heard some noises she found quite scary
The crack of a twig
The wind through the woods
She was being watched
But who could?
A car approached and stopped by her side
A man inside asked if she needed a ride
Jane said “no thanks, my grandma’s picking up her kin”
The man hastily pulled out a gun and said
Get in
They arrived at his house, he said “we’re here”
Jane’s fast mind was filled with fear
His goals were elusive, his motives unclear
The man began to cackle and sneer
Every second he grew more queer
He made her a cup full of grain
Never uttered anything but her name
He said her neck in time will slain
After all the years buried beneath the pain

He took a rope beside the flame
And tied it around thy neck of Jane
How could he do such evil?
Does his soul have no light?
How could he have such sinister spite!
Air was gone
Her heart is dying
The muscles of her throat have started crying
Under the neck thy rope is tying
She tried to remove the rope by prying
But once the might of her throat is weary
And the cry from her eyes have stopped their teary
The man then leaves her dead in the scary
Night, the man takes off in a ferry
The dark night had gotten very old
And his wicked plan has now unfold
He laughed and blustered till her bones grew cold
And buried her from whence she told
Two years later there lies the grave
“In Loving Memory of Jane the Brave”
Her body has rotten
She’s all but forgotten
Too many questions, mishaps, and queries
Once upon that midnight eerie.
